Ms. Kat
M.A., CCC-SLP, CALP, C-SLDI
As speech language pathologist, structured literacy interventionist , educator, and advocate Ms. Kat have has more than twenty-five years of experience. Helping clients of all ages become stronger, more confident communicators and readers is her passion.
Advanced Literacy Training and Credentials
She completed advanced structured literacy training through programs accredited by the Orton-Gillingham Academy and the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council. Ms. Kat is a Certified Dyslexia Interventionist through the Center of Effective Reading Instruction and a Certified Language Practitioner through both the Academic Language Therapy Association, reflecting advanced preparation in structured literacy and evidence based reading intervention. Our approach to literacy instruction is firmly grounded in Science of Reading research while remaining highly individualized to each client’s needs.
Advocacy
Ms. Kat provides parent advocacy for IEP and 504 plan meetings. She believes effective intervention should do more than address an immediate difficulty; It should help individuals understand how they learn, develop confidence, and realize their potential.
